If a car is damaged or lost from hail, fire, flood or theft during a Borrower's booking, it will be covered by our insurance and the Borrower will be responsible for paying the Damage Cover Liability (DCL). Report the damage or loss to us as soon as possible.
If this occurs outside of a Borrower’s booking, it won’t be covered by our insurance. The Owner will need to speak to their own insurer and handle the claim directly with them. If the damage makes your car undriveable, make sure you block it out until it’s repaired so it’s not available to Borrowers.
