Downloading a financial year income summary

Short answer:

Owners can download a summary of their financial year transactions through the website (not app). This can be especially helpful during tax time.

The summary includes the total kilometres travelled by borrowers, which you'll need for your tax return. You can also find this information on your monthly invoices and stats dashboard.

We don't record how many kilometres your car is driven outside of borrower bookings. You'll need to work this out with the odometer readings from the start and end of the financial year, and the number of borrower kilometres. We can give you your odometer reading from when you first joined Car Next Door. Please get in touch if you would like this information.

Downloading your financial year summary

  1. Log into the website (not app)
  2. Select the menu, and choose Account
  3. Select Financial documents
  4. Download CSV for your financial year summary

Note: when reviewing your summary, 'Trip Income' and 'Booking Income' are the same thing, and 'Trip Commission' and 'Booking Commission' are the same, too. The names were changed a little while ago.
