In most cases, a late return is the result of an honest mistake, like mixing up the booking times. Contact the Borrower to find out why they're late. If you can't get in touch with the Borrower contact us as soon as possible.
If a Borrower’s booking period has ended and they haven’t returned your car yet, give them a call directly. You can find the Borrower’s phone number in the booking details in the website or app, or in the text and email you received when the booking was made.
If you can’t get in touch with the Borrower, contact us as soon as possible. In most cases, a Borrower running late is due to an honest mistake, for example mixing up the booking times or incorrectly extending a booking, so there's no need to be alarmed.
Please don't try to pick up the car yourself. We can track your car's location using the GPS, and we have plenty of tools at our disposal to ensure your car is returned and in good condition. If necessary, we'll fine the Borrower and compensate you or the next Borrower for the inconvenience.
The Borrower is liable for anything that happens to the car as long as they are in possession of it, and will be charged for the trip up until the time your car is returned.
If you or another Borrower has a booking coming up soon and your car hasn’t been returned by the previous Borrower, contact us so we can arrange alternative transport for you or the next Borrower.
