Updating your contact details or name

Short answer:

You'll need to call us to update your phone number or email address. You can update your home address through the website or app. You can update your preferred name in the website, or email us if you've legally changed your name.

Updating your contact details

Email address or phone number: Call us on (02) 8035 8000 and let us know your new details.

Home address:

  1. Log in to the website or app
  2. Go to Menu > Account on the website, or Menu > Profile on the app
  3. Enter your new details
  4. Click 'Save'

Updating your name or preferred name

If you have a preferred first name you'd like displayed on the website, you can update it in the website (not app):

  1. Log in to the website (not app)
  2. Click on the menu in the top right hand corner and choose 'Account'
  3. Click on your name under your profile photo
  4. Type your preferred name into the box
  5. Click 'Save'

Your preferred name will display on your profile, on any reviews you leave for other members or cars, and on your car's profile.

If you have legally changed your name, send us an email at members@carnextdoor.com.au with your new name.
