How can I contact the car's owner or the borrower who has booked my car?

The beauty of Car Next Door is that you don’t need to meet to swap keys. However, there are some incidences where it’s going to be best for you to speak. 

As a neighbour-to-neighbour car sharing network, Car Next Door encourages car owners and car borrower to contact each other directly to sort out day-to-day issues.

To see the car owner's or borrower's details:

  • During a trip: Log in and go to Step 5: "Need Help? Contact Information"
  • Before or after a trip: Log in and go to "Trips". Click 'View Details' on the relevant trip and scroll down to 'Owner Details'

When to contact the other member directly

Please contact the member directly for any questions or issues that don’t require Car Next Door’s direct assistance – for example, asking about a car’s amenities or operation; finding lost property; or sorting out minor damage.
